“For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted. A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, 4

As we approach the new year, I would like to recognize the grief that this congregation is feeling regarding the recent split from Union Grove. Change is never easy and is often accompanied by sadness and uncertainty. However, change is also accompanied by hope and growth in unexpected ways.

I feel blessed to be chosen as the one who will walk this journey of change and sadness and growth and hope with you. I will do all I can to be a safe, soft yet sturdy pillar of strength for this congregation over the coming year. Thank you for putting your faith and trust in me as your leader. Together we will prayerfully move forward, putting our faith in God and Jesus.
